This Wednesday, March 26 at 7:00 p.m. in the large hall at St. Mary's is this months pack meeting.  As announced it will be a cake auction,  so parents bring your checkbooks.  You have control over how much your scout is allowed to bid and all amounts are tax deductible.  Scouts should be creative and parent's should assist as needed.  All pans/carriers should be disposable.  Cakes should be no bigger than 12 inches by 18 inches and all cake parts should be edible.  Only one cake per scout.  Upon arrival each cub needs to register his cake.  A number will be assigned to each cake, so please do not put a name on it.  After all the cakes are registered, the scouts will be able to vote for their favorite (not their own), and judges will be viewing the cakes on the following categories:

As Mark Hobart sent in a previous email, we will be having a rocket day workshop on Saturday, March 29 from 1:30-3:30 p.m. in the scout room.  Please inform your den leader by Wednesday so they can let Mark know how many rockets he needs to get for Saturday.

Rocket Day will be on Saturday, April 12 from 10:00-12:30 at Fino Field with a rain date of Sunday, April 13 from 10:00-12:30.

April Pack Meeting will be Wednesday, April 30 at 7:00 in the large hall at St. Mary's.  This will be a regular pack meeting and any dens who would like to put on a skit would be welcome.

Sunny Thomas has set the Fishing Derby for Satuday, May 3 from 8:00-10:00 a.m. at the Hopkinton State Park boating area.  Prizes will be awarded.

Cemetary flagging will take place on Saturday, May 24.  Council will notify me of time place at the beginning of May.

Memorial Day parade will be on Monday, May 26.  Council will notify me of time and place at the beginning of May.

May Pack Meeting will be Wednesday, May 28 at 7:00 p.m. in the large hall at St. Mary's.

The Spring overnight and Pawsox overnight have yet to be scheduled but usually occur in June and August, respectively.

I have also attached a flyer from Milford Scouting.  They are looking for volunteers for the event.  It sounds like a lot of fun and would give the boys a chance to mingle with the other cubscout packs and boyscout troops.  It happens after the cemetary flagging on Memorial Day weekend.  Anyone who would like to volunteer can let me know or send Dave Hancox a message.
