This
Wednesday, March 26 at 7:00 p.m. in the large hall at St. Mary's is this months pack meeting. As announced it will be a
cake auction, so parents bring your
checkbooks. You have control over how much your scout is allowed to
bid and all amounts are tax deductible. Scouts should be creative and parent's should assist as needed. All
pans/carriers should be disposable. Cakes should be no bigger than
12 inches by 18 inches and all cake parts should be edible. Only one cake per scout. Upon arrival each
cub needs to register his cake. A number will be assigned
to each cake, so please do not put a name on it. After all the cakes
are registered, the scouts will be able to vote for their favorite
(not their own), and judges will be viewing the cakes on the
following categories:

Sunny

from 8:00-10:00 a.m. at the
Cemetary
flagging will take place on Saturday, May 24. Council will notify me of
time place at the beginning of May.
Memorial
Day parade will be on Monday, May 26. Council will notify me of time and
place at the beginning of May.
May Pack
Meeting will be Wednesday, May 28 at 7:00 p.m. in the large hall at St. Mary's.
The Spring overnight and Pawsox
overnight have yet to be scheduled but usually occur in June and August,
respectively.
I have also
attached a flyer from Milford Scouting. They are looking for volunteers
for the event. It sounds like a lot of fun and would give the boys a
chance to mingle with the other cubscout packs
and boyscout troops. It happens after the cemetary flagging on Memorial Day weekend. Anyone who
would like to volunteer can let me know or send Dave Hancox a message.
